Music from the Heavens.

HEY guys!

I'm sure we've all been blessed by Pastor Alvaro Sanchez' sharing and of course his stunning musical talent!
To all you's who so sadly missed out (tsk tsk!), here's the low down on what went on and the pictures to tell the rest of the story.

Pastor Sanchez played a few classical songs both on his guitar and harp.
We all learnt that the guitar and harp are related! Mother and Daughter.
The harp is the sitera (?) and the guitar is the guitera (?)

WELL, He sure reminded us time and time again that playing like that is very EASY for him,
and I'm sure it is, for someone who practised 1 hour, 2 hour, 8, 16, WHOAH!
That's ALOT of commitment! No time for computer, TV, going out to play.
Jerome! Why don't you try that for just on day? =D

His fingers are so nimble, for a guy, and he has powerful coordination! His fingers moved so quickly that it came out blurred when we tried taking a picture!

I thought 'Little Drummer Boy' was really cool. I don't think any of us has seen people hooking 2 strings together to play the drum beat before. And pastor Sanchez shared with us that 'No man can teach this skill of playing', how cool is that? That God actually TEACHES him how to use the talent the He gave.

And this is a picture of him playing with his left hand only! The '? meditation' that he played was touching. I loved how he used his left hand to signify his life without God.

And on to the harp. It's probably the first time most of us hear the harp playing live huh, I know it was for me. And I don't know about you guys, but I was like CAPTIVATED by what I was hearing and seeing. It's such a strong, solid yet gentle instrument. Throw on a white robe and play away, and you'd have yourself a very-angel-like someone.
